Terms and Conditions |
Deposit:
A deposit of 30% of the rent I required when booking and the balance
is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the holiday. |
Amendments:
We do not offer cancellation cover and advise that you take out your
own holiday insurance. Monies will not be refunded if for any reason
you should have to cancel your booking and you will remain liable
for the full amount. |
Price Changes:
We reserve the right to amend prices quoted due to error or omissions
or changes in the VAT rate. |
Method of Payment:
Cheques or postal orders. |
Eligibility:
Bookings will not be accepted from groups of single persons under
the age of 35 or all male or all female parties comprising more than
3 people. |
The Tenancy:
The tenancy confers upon the Tenants the right to occupy for a holiday
within the meaning of schedule 1, Paragraph 9 of the Housing Act1988. |
Tenant’s Obligations:
The Tenants agree:
a) To pay for all losses or damage to the property, caused by
the Tenant or a member of the party.
b) To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean
and tidy condition.
c) To permit maintenance staff reasonable access to the property.
d) Not to part with possession of the property, or share it,
except with members of the party shown on the
booking form.
e) Not to exceed the total number of people stipulates in the
property description. A cot may only be occupied
by a child aged 24 months or less. |
Duration and Times of Letting:
Lettings are for a maximum of four weeks and commence at 3.00 pm on
the first day of the tenancy and end at 10.00 am on the day of departure.
The period booked cannot be exceeded. Tenants will be liable for any
cost of whatsoever nature incurred because of an extension. |
Non-availability of property:
If for an reason beyond our control, the property is not available
on the date booked (owing to fire damage for example), or the property
is unsuitable for holiday letting all rent and charges paid in advance
by the Applicants will be refunded in full, but the applicants shall
have no further claim against the owners. |
Liability:
The owners do not accept liability for any act, neglect or default
on the part of any person not within their employ or otherwise under
their control, nor for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense
or inconvenience, whether to person or property, which the Tenants
or any other person may suffer or incur arising out of, or in any
way connected with the letting. In addition, the owner accepts no
liability for the loss of or Damage to the Tenants possessions. |
Complaints:
All complaints must be notified to the owners immediately so that
an on-the -spot investigation can be made if necessary and remedial
action taken if required. In no circumstances will compensation be
made for complaints raised after the tenancy has ended when the tenant
has denied the owners the opportunity of investigating the complaint
and endeavouring to put matter right during the tenancy. |
Pets:
Pets are to be kept under control and exercised off the premises.
Pets are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture and the
owners do not accept responsibility for their safety. The first dog
can stay for free but £15 per week for more. |
Linen:
Linen, bath towels, tea towels, tablecloths and dishcloths are provided
and are changed between tenancies and weekly during tenancies. There
is a change for sets of towels - £5 per set. |
Breach of Contract:
If there shall be a breach of any of these conditions by any of the
tenants, the owner reserves the right to re-enter the property and
terminate the booking. |
Discrepancies:
In case of a discrepancy between these Booking Conditions and other
description or conditions published else where these conditions shall
prevail. |
Validity Clause:
If any term or provision in these Booking Conditions shall in while
or in part be held to any extent to be illegal or unenforceable under
any enactment or rule of law that term or provision or part shall
to that extent be deemed not to form part of this agreement and the
enforceability if the remainder of this agreement shall not be affected. |
